The Self-Assessment Essay is essentially a research paper where we ourselves are the subject. Throughout this paper, I have referred to my other works, some of which you can find throughout the rest of my digital portfolio. This paper answers two questions: To what extent have I achieved this course’s learning objectives? In what ways have my perceptions of what writing is and does evolved this semester? I finish the paper by discussing what it means to be a writer and the significance writing has to every field.
